Description:

Leaf Beetle with white elytra with lyre shaped markings, orange thorax and head, about 7 mm long. Family Chrysomelidae. The second picture is of a specimen that also came to the ultraviolet light in the same place on 27 February 2014. This one has the black lines on the elytra disconnected. Third picture was taken on 6 May 2014, same place.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
