Field Notes

Description:

Black body, upper portion of legs is red with black on lower. Middle and back legs have a white band. Large stinger. Winged About 3-3l/2" in size. Wasp?

Habitat:

Backyard. Found on the Jewel Weed.

Notes:

Very fast-moving. I was only able to grab a couple of fuzzy shots before it went about its business.
