Bracken Moth

Field Notes
Description:
A peach coloured moth with a wing span about 35 mm. Each fore wing appeared to have a small dark patch, about halfway near the costal margin. The apex of fore wings were slightly hooked. Hind wings were slightly paler and had diffuse wavy lines. A thin pale yellow line ran through all four wings.
Thorax was clothed with dense hairs. Antennae were held under the wings.
Habitat:
Spotted in an area with mixed native trees.
