Field Notes

Description:

Are nocturnal and during the day they sleep in bushes or low ground.
Begins to hunt after sunset, flying low over open areas or can observe their prey from a fence post, electric cable or other place where you can pose.
It feeds on small mammals, large insects, birds and reptiles.

Habitat:

They live in open areas with shrubs and patches of forest, savannah, runways, open bogs, grasslands, ricefields.
