Field Notes

Description:

Small, very curious. Kept popping up between the slats of the boardwalk.

Habitat:

Wet meadow marsh border of an upland hardwood forest. - Donnelly Nature Preserve

Notes:

Had a group of 24 EnvSci students doing a nature walk. Spotted by a student and did "pop goes the weasel" in between 2 groups of students on the boardwalk for about 5 minutes before he finally disappeared. I tend to stay away from "cute" as a descriptor, but it really was cute.
