Description:
My daughter found what appears to be a gigantic puffball mushroom. It measured about 9" in diameter, but I've never seen a puffball this big.
Habitat:
Woodland edge of a second growth hemlock-cedar climax woodland next to a mowed meadow in above the bank of Lake Champlain in the the Adirondak State Park.
