Description:

This medium sized bird of pray, gets it's name from the reddish like shoulder feathers. They eat small mammals, small birds, reptiles, and even insects. This one in the photos, was drying off after a haevy rain strom had gone through the area.

Habitat:

I took these images at Corksrew, Florida.
