Description:

Brown with dark saddles on the back. Approximately 18 inches long.

Habitat:

Small river underneath a large rock.

They can't really smile, but it was very calm at this point. When handled gently, they usually calm down pretty quickly. Of course we never handle a venomous snake in this manner. We have special equipment that protects both ourselves and the snake from harm.
