Mariajo, if you can make a crop of this down to 600 pixels and post as a second picture it should show the bird much better.
Faredin, this is nothing like a Chukar, which has bold black and white stripes on the flanks. This one has the dull reddish brown and buff patches of the local and common Red-legged Partridge. Only the head is similar to the Chukar which is a bird of the Eastern Mediterranean, from Turkey through the Middle East and into Asia.
