Field Notes

Description:

Amazing little spiny orange spider about 1 cm in length. There were many of these in the bushes of different sizes, all low to the ground. 1 cm seemed to be the largest.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
