Description:

Found on a willow tree along the Kalamazoo River in Battle Creek,Mi.
This Caterpillar was over 3 inches long / 9 centimeters when it pupated ,, I found one other on the same willow on 8/19/13 that is still in stage 5.. The Process Took 24 hours to Complete the Final Photos of the of the Caterpillar Creating its Cocoon Were on 8/24/13 & 8/25/13 ...
