Description:

Locally known as Kuwago .
While I was mountain biking going to mananap falls in San Vicente Camarines Norte (Bicol), I passed onto one small house at the foot of the mountain. There i saw a huge owl. I was surprised because it looks like a combination of owl and eagle. When i try to take a photo the owl suddenly opened the wings as a sign of defense mechanism. Later I found out that this is the Philippine Eagle owl and it is the largest owl in the Philippines.
