Description:

The word klipspringer literally means "rock jumper" in Afrikaans. The klipspringer is also known colloquially as a mvundla (from the Xhosa umvundla, meaning "rabbit").

Habitat:

In Rocky area, Riverside

Notes:

They never need to drink, since the succulents they consume provide them with enough water to survive

Thanks Adriano, Tiz I agree, I was so surprised to see this little guy up there, usually plenty in the mountains further south where I live.
It is quite rare to see them in Kruger since they are quite territorial (And as the note mentions, they dont really have to go to the waterholes to drink) You are a lucky man, they ar beautiful (and your pictures too)
WOW, I've wanted to see one for all my stay in South Africa and Namibia and never had the chance, spectacular photos also!
