Field Notes

Description:

The top side of wings are orange with black streaks. There are also a few white/silver spots surrounded by black. The underside of wings display patterns of brown with white/silver circular markings.

Habitat:

Open areas, gardens, woodlands, parks.

Notes:

A student in our class spied this guy hanging around some box gardens at our school. There are still some blooming plants that this guy was feeding from.
