Field Notes

Description:

A large brown toad with a white stripe on its back.

This one liked to come out in the evening along a rocky path, near a creek and meadow at Anthony Lakes in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon.

Notes:

We saw them nearly every evening we were at Anthony Lakes. When we picked it up, it squeaked.
