Description:

Black and gold howler monkey - Alouatta caraya.
Unusually this species is sexually dimorphic - females are blonde, while males, although born the same pale gold colour, turn black as they mature.
Seen at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust Wildlife Park, Les Augrès Manor La Profonde Rue, Trinity JE3 5BP, Jersey
