Hi, tongsana2. You're on the right track ... some kind of tiger lily, I think. Couldn't find a good general link, but here's one that shows the most common type of tiger lily in bloom and you can see its leaves ... http://www.pfaf.org/user/plant.aspx?LatinName=Lilium+lancifolium
