Description:

Butterfly is approximately 1 inch long. It rests, like all skippers, with its wings upright. The color is orange with dark brown to black spots. The skipper is pollinating a daisy plant in a urban butterfly garden.

Habitat:

Butterfly is feeding on a lantana plant. The neary bermuda and St. Augustine lawns are favorite habitats for the larvae.
