Small, 0.5 in or 1.27 cm, all brown beetle. flate lobe like structure at the end of the antennae

Habitat:

In the sand along the edge of Lake Lewisville.

Hi Gator. I found something for you. The Aphodius lividus is quite similar to your Scarab beetle, but yours have black head and antenna. Perhaps this helps someone who knows more to ID it properly.
