Description:

Brown snake. Flattens itself to avoid being picked up with stick.

Habitat:

My pool.

Notes:

I hope it is a ground snake. I have mulch with lots of bugs under it.

The brown patch on the side of the head and neck give this away as being a Brown Snake. Garter snakes do have a similar pattern, but this is definitely a Brown Snake.
