Hi there. A good way to tell monkeys from apes is to look at the backside. If it has a tail, chances are really strong that it's a type of monkey. If it doesn't have a tail, it's an ape. :-) Also, there is a wonderful mission for captive animals. We encourage all zoo/aquarium/sanctuary images to go there, and it's also a great idea to list the facility in your spotting notes. Thanks so much!
