Description:

This is my second spotting of a glossy ibis. Had never seen one before. This one is at the Assateague Island National Seashore in Berlin, Maryland and the other one was at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia. There was only one spotted at each location. This glossy ibis is in his breeding plumage.

Habitat:

In a fresh water marsh at Assateague Island National Seashore in Berlin, Maryland.
