Field Notes

Notes:

I visited the Riverbend crocodile farm in January this year and found it really informative. Not only do they house and teach you about crocodiles, but also about the various snakes found in South Africa.

Riverbend is a family run business and are heavily involved in the conservation of these magnificent creatures.

From the photo's you can see that they also do a croc feeding session - to see and hear the strength of these creatures when it comes to getting their food is an amazing experience - and a little scary as well! There are also crocodile hatching sessions that you can go to which are also very informative plus its really cool to see.

Would recommend a visit if you're in visiting the KZN South coast.
