Description:
There are three types of the American Bumblebee; the queens, workers, and males. The biggest difference between each is the size. The queens can range from 21 to 25 mm in length, the workers can be 14-18 mm, and the males approximately 16-22mm. The workers resemble very closely to the queens other than they are smaller.
Habitat:
The American Bumblebee can be found anywhere from Quebec down to Florida and even in Mexico. May through October is when you will most likely see these buzzing around pollinating and feeding on foliage.
