This Slender-scaped Carpenter Bee was spotted in the rice mill backyard on White Jute (Corchorus capsularis Linn.), known in the Philippines as Saluyot. Plant information from http://www.stuartxchange.org/PasauNaBilog.....

Notes:

The Slender-scaped Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa tenuiscapa) is, according to Wikipedia, found only in South Asian and Southeast Asian countries. The article goes on to explain that this bee is diurnal (active only during daylight hours), but it has been observed, in the Western Ghats of Southern India, flying on moonlit nights.
