Description:

Very sweet looking wildflowers, the Purple Avens is 1-4 ft. tall; Flowers brownish purple, nodding atop hairy stalks; fruits like soft burrs; leaves hairy; leaves at base much divided.

Habitat:

wet meadow, bogs.
