Menzies' Fiddleneck

Amsinckia menziesii is a species of plant in the Boraginaceae family, the borage or forget-me-not family. Stem is erect and covered with tiny hairs or bristles (as are the leaves). Tiny yellow flowers are clustered at the terminations. Flowers have a calyx with 5 lobes - tube yellow with wide unrestricted throat with or without red dots. Pale yellow-flowered forms usually do not have red dots in throat. Can grow to 15 in. tall
