Field Notes

Description:

A neonate that was separated from its group. It was no doubt one of the three big clutches that had been birthed together.

Habitat:

Near cedar swamp by pine wood

Notes:

This is the third of several seen this weekend and the weekend before it. There are clearly dens intertwined in this area with surprisingly high human traffic.
