Field Notes

Description:

Adults reach up to 7.5 cm long (head-body). The tail is very long, two and three times the length of head-body. The back and sides scales are big, flat and point shaped. It usually presents bluff colour and two conspicuous white lines on both sides. Underside parts are white and with a weak green tinge. Males usually have one or two blue stains on the shoulders, when in mating season they have the neck and head sides coloured in orange. This small lizard can produce small shrieks
