Description:

Saw this darling little guy (or gal) hopping near the house in our front yard. Have only seen toads around here before - but have heard frogs singing at night.

No - you're right, Goody. I don't think it is a SLF. I made a second spotting of this same species yesterday and realized it wasn't what I thought it was. The nose isn't tapered enough and the spots aren't right. I'm not sure what it is.
Are you certain this is a leopard frog? It doesn't appear to have dorsolateral folds.
