Notes:

The First Grade class at OLA School in Beloit, WI are learning about plants an animals. We took a nature walk around the school and documented what we saw. We need help identifying our findings

Arborvitae

Thuja sp.

That's a tough one. It could be a cultivar of Eastern Redcedar (Juniperus virginiana) or Arborvitae (Thuja sp.). Redcedar develops pale blue "berries" while Arborvitae develops small cones 1 - 2 centimeters.
