Species ID Suggestions

Thanks Ingrid3 for the ID! But this one has a dark stripe through the eyes, which I didn't see in Conocephalus brevipennis. Could it be under same genus but different species?
Very nice habitat photo. It is very important to see where these guys are resting and being able to determine the surrounding plants so we can begin to understand how we can provide better wildlife habitat for more species! This is a grasshopper possibly Short-winged Meadow Katydid, male Conocephalus brevipennis SEE http://bugguide.net/node/view/33646
