I have no idea what this is. This was very small in beautiful pink and cream colors.

@CindyBinghamKeiser: Thank you very much for the information. From looking at the eyes, I now am sure that it is leafhopper. Your hopper is white and yellow and my spot is pink and yellow, so I wonder which kind I spotted....
The sharpshooters in my backyard are bigger than the usual leafhoppers by far. Unfortunately I cannot tell you which one this is. You can take a look at my emerging sharpshooter to compare the shapes. I described mine as 12mm long: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/24872127
@CindyBinghamKeiser: I have spotted leafhoppers and they were small. I thought this was bigger than those leafhoppers. But, I may be wrong. Because of its bright colors, maybe I thought this was bigger....
Hi Rieko, this sure looks like a Sharpshooter which is a type of Leafhopper. Nice series!
Ah, I don't believe it is. It was much bigger than leafhopper, but much smaller that cicada. It looks like just came out for the dark shell, but I am not sure about that either....
Not a leafhopper cute?
