Description:

Large purplish fungus. I think this is a Cymatoderma species, but I'm having a hard time matching my photos to the ones available online. I think most the time people find these when they are older, like the ones in photos 3 & 4

Habitat:

Spring Hammock Preserve

Notes:

I highly recommend fungi lovers visit this preserve! Many species of fungi of a variety of colors and forms and sizes
