Field Notes

Description:

A spider totally white, relatively common where this specimen was found, average size of ~ 3cm. Can be found on the ground but it is more common to find them on the back of the leaves of trees.

Habitat:

Brasil's interior, MG state (region dominated by coffee production).

Notes:

If I could I would suggest that it is a kind of white wolf spider. I think!

I have spotted a common species here similar to your spotting except that my one looks like a huntsman http://images.plurk.com/4gFRNb0lI6s2zZHkmuplJ3.jpg
Yes, I'd love to know too, Chun! They are very common here in my region. I'll see if I can find more about her. Thanks for the feedback, my friend!
Nice spotting, I would love to know the ID of this one. Those eye patterns are unusual, could be very useful for it's identification.
