Sckel,the link might also explain why you were seeing red in the eyes.

Sckel, there are over 90 Brazilian species in a single genus, so I suggested one. Hope that helps! ;)

I have never seen this fly before. Nice green eyes.

Thanks, Jemma. The design of the wings is different. I really don't know an ID.
