Field Notes
Description:
An attractive stout beetle about 23 mm long. Its bright green elytra showed linear pitting with short stiff pale setae. Margins were yellow. Head and thorax were a slightly paler green colour. Legs were a deep brown with green femurs and had stiff hairs. Antennae had at least 4 leaflets.
Beneath the elytra and along the sides were dense hairs.
Habitat:
Spotted under bright lights at a car yard located across a national park with eucalyptus trees.
