Small fat spider with zigzag markings on back. Brown and tan in color

Habitat:

Found in my garage while cleaning

Research on cobweb spiders and Illinois and I bet you will find your exact match.
Only the black widow (which is part of this overall collection of spider) is poisonous. This one would be pretty harmless. Beautiful spider actually.
OK, with further examination and research, I have changed my mind. I think it's a type of cobweb spider.
Looks like a type of orb weaver. There are many types but most are very round like this.
