Brown and white Monkey Grasshopper, those hind legs are full of powerful jumping muscles. He was watching me watch him - mutual admiration I hope. Family Eumastacidae.
Habitat:
Dense shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
