Field Notes

Description:

Tucked away in a shaded corner of a landscaping bed outside a restaurant. Apple mint is used as a flavoring in many cuisines ... also mint tea and mixed drinks, as a garnish or in salads. Maybe it was planted there by someone who works in the kitchen or the bar.
