Description:

A lovely Hawaiian endemic plant reputed to have some medicinal purpose. Berries are not edible and sometimes toxic.

Habitat:

Very near the volcanic crater rim.

Notes:

On Mauna Loa, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
