Field Notes

Description:

This is a looper caterpillar in the family Geometridae.
They have bright orange lateral dots associated with the region that I would expect the spiracles to be, also lateral stripes in yellow and a central orange stripe.

Habitat:

Found on Acacia.
The second one, (Curled, pic #4) was found on Eucalyptus.

Notes:

I have kept these two to try to determine their adult.
