Field Notes

Description:

2 to 3 feet tall, branching with many white-rayed, yellow-centered blossoms. Distinctly hairy stems (best seen in 1st pic ). [There are 191 species in the Erigeron genus, with some species being found in only a single state. Please let me know if you believe this ID to be in error!]

Habitat:

It is a native plant in both the continental United States and in Canada.

Notes:

Spotted along a dirt road in Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park
