Field Notes

Description:

Small wabler, greenish yellow on back with bright yellow under. The underside is streaked with red on the males. Small dark bill and eyes.

Habitat:

Thickets and dense shrubs.

Notes:

Spotted this in the nectar garden at Coyote Hills. Last week I was able to see my first one and it was a juvenile. Today was an adult male.
