Description:

Looks like a ball of fluffy trash. Has long bristles on its sides that collect debris.

Habitat:

Found on a squash leaf in my vegetable garden.

Notes:

The larval stage of the green lacewing. Feeds on aphids. Debris provides camouflage from birds.
