Description:
My friend calls them puff balls. They are squishy until their insides go through some process, then they become filled with a powder of spores that, when coaxed, they release in a puff cloud. They appear to grow like a flower, budding, then flowering, then the 'petals' turn upside down, creating a stand away from the ground.
