Field Notes

Description:

A green-colored cicada on my finger. Almost 40mm in length. Not shy / timid as it do not get scared easily or fly away when handled. However, it might try to pierce it's proboscis into your skin when it gets comfortable on you.

Habitat:

On trees in the forest of Sukau, Lower Kinabatangan, Sabah. They always fly into buildings with lights at night.
