Yes, you are right martinl, nymphs of every kind are plentiful but predation decreases the number a lot.
I suggest that many nymphs are predated by birds and small mammals and do not reach maturity. Adults and late instars are not often encountered because they are more scarce.
Thanks jopy, I saw them many times when they were juveniles and finally now I found an adult, harder to find the adults even though they are really big.
