Field Notes

Description:

Gray and brown coloring. Tail looks thinned out and not very bushy at all. Skittish behavior but this one had gotten used to humans being around so he didn't mind being so close to me.

Habitat:

Denton, TX

Notes:

I'm not sure how to identify the fox squirrel and the gray squirrel, can anyone tell me please? In some pictures they both look similar to one another. This is a picture of one of the squirrels that hang out on the UNT campus in Denton, TX.
