Field Notes

Habitat:

Side of the road in a forested area.

Notes:

I spotted this while walking back from my hike around Bienn Dubh near Loch Lomond. At first I thought it was plastic because of the bright orange colour, but taking a closer look...is it a type of jelly ear fungus? I got so excited and just had to share this find!
